Response on "Books"

I think before Mr. Miller's lecture on books, I really took them for granted. I never really thought about what life would be like without them. I mean they have always been around, and they have always been available to me, so I haven't thought about the impact they have on my life. The fact that books used to be an expensive item is also crazy. Sitting in my room there are about fifty books, in the rest of my house, who knows how many. Does this make me rich? That lecture was really interesting to me. It made me think about what it would be like if I were not able to ever read or write. Which is something I love to do.
